What is Debbie Bliss cashmerino?

55% merino wool
33% microfiber
12% cashmere

dreamplum is the big dork who decided cashmerino was such a nifty family of yarns that it needed a community all its own.

What sizes does it come in?
-Baby cashmerino: knitted on #3's, nearly 7 stitches to the inch.
-Regular aran cashmerino
-NEW: chunky, knitted on #10.5's, 3 1/2 stitches to the inch
-Superchunky cashmerino, knitted on UK#1's (US 10 7/8, hard to find), 3 stitches to the inch.

Check website for colors.

There's a new thing coming out this fall called Aztrakhan, which is a cashmerino boucle knitted on #6's.

What's this community for?
-stash descriptions (or posts like OMG i found it on sale!!)
-pictures of works in progress as you knit them, or just babbling about works in progress
-asking for help with patterns in Debbie Bliss books
-asking for help making up patterns or making other patterns apply to cashmerino yarns

FAQ: What's a 10 7/8 needle?
Answer: It's a 7.5 mm needle that you have to order from Millward or Brittany Birch, b/c it's not an American size. Luckily, Canada uses the British system--I think. (Or you could just use #11's.)

As that one place says on eBay: Softer than kittens ;-)
